About My Approach
Evidence-Based, Practical, and Person-Centered
I believe that meaningful change happens through small, practical shifts over time.
The natural world moves through seasons of growth, rest, and renewal. Inspired by this, our work together follows a similar process to support sustainable change in your daily life.
I approach my practice through the lens of my lived experience struggling with mental health concerns, anxiety, ADHD, and feeling disconnected from my body.
What does the process of working together look like?
Free 30-Minute Consultation
1
This is a chance for us to connect and see if my approach feels like a good fit.
During the call, we may briefly discuss:
current challenges
goals or areas of frustration
previous supports & services
any questions you have
You’ll have space to pause, take stock, and see if moving forward together feels aligned.
If it does, we’ll schedule a formal evaluation.
Intake Paperwork
2
Once your formal evaluation is scheduled, you’ll complete some intake paperwork. This helps me understand the bigger picture of your life, like your routines, strengths, and concerns.
This foundational information may include:
Developmental or medical history (when relevant)
Daily routines & environments
Sensory patterns & needs
Executive functioning challenges
Priorities
From there, I’ll create an individualized, thoughtful, and grounded action plan based on your real-world experiences.
Initial Evaluation
3
The evaluation process may included structured observation, functional assessments, and even standardized tools.
Not every client requires formal testing. Often, evaluation can happen through observation and conversation.
The initial evaluation will help me to identify patterns, strengths, and areas where support may be helpful. With this information, we can move forward together with clarity.
Intervention
4
Intervention happens in our sessions.
Sessions are a practical, collaborative, and personalized time.
Depending on your goals, sessions may include:
building executive functioning system
practicing ways to regulate the nervous system
adjusting routines or environments
strengthening daily living skills
exploring identity shifts
integrating movement, sensory supports, or creative practices
My role is to support sustainable growth so that the seeds we plant together can take root in everyday life.
Growth rarely happens all at once.
Like the natural world, it unfolds in seasons where there are times for learning new skills, times for practicing and strengthening them, and times for reflection and integration.
